ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE DAY

February is here and we’ve got lots to celebrate—Black history month, past presidents, Punxsutawney Phil, and your Valentine. Here at x̌alilc Elementary, we’ve got one more addition: ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE DAY!

On Feb. 13, staff and students will participate in our 2nd annual All You Need Is Love Day. What is it exactly? A positive, joy-filled day focusing on compassion for others, remembering those who love us, growing in love for oneself, and celebrating LOVE’s byproducts!

Students are invited to dress in pink, red, or white. Classrooms will be taking part in lessons, activities, books, and music centered around LOVE.

To get in the spirit, here’s a sweet book recommendation:
LOVE, by Matt de La Pena and illustrated by Loren Long.
