Hello 4th graders and welcome to a great year of learning and growing.

I have been teaching since 2015, both 6th and 4th grade, and am excited to meet you all.

I have a daughter named Harper and a son named Simon, both of whom attended BISD schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. The rest of my family includes my husband, named Troy, who encouraged me to start our Bainbridge Island journey in 2003.

When I'm not busy in the classroom, I love to kayak, hike, and read a great book. Other passions include knitting, "camping", and creating engaging lessons with my 4th-grade team.

As you get ready to join our classroom community, remember that you are brave, capable, and strong and we are going to have a great year together.
