I have been teaching at x̌alilc (Halilts) Elementary School since 2005. I have taught both second and third grade. I love joking with students and being playful. Humor is definitely one of my favorite teaching tools. Being a teacher and working with kids brings me great joy. I enjoy helping students learn new skills, build their confidence, and become more independent. As we start the year, my first goal is to build our classroom community and to create a welcoming environment. We will get to know our classmates and work on supporting and encouraging one another. After that, we will work on building routines so that all students are confident and comfortable in the classroom. I want to make this year a great one for you and your third grader.
