Welcome Kindergarten Kids! We are going to have a great year ahead of us...I just know it! We're going to explore, learn, and have lots of fun. And I'm so glad I get to be your teacher this year. When I was little, I went to Wilkes, too. But now that I am a grown-up I get to teach here! I used to be an archaeologist and I can't wait to share some of my travel adventures with you. I also love to scuba dive. That means I am able to swim and breathe underwater for a very long time. There are lots of sea creatures to find around Bainbridge Island such as the Giant Pacific Octopus, harbor seals, wolf eels, sea anemones, sea stars, and lots and lots of fish! I'll share some of my dive adventures with you as well. I have two pet pythons at home. Their names are Gemma and Tiger Lily. And maybe they'll be able to visit our classroom. Can't wait to meet all of you!
