Hello!  I started off the year teaching Second Grade, but I am now teaching PE!  I am currently working on my Health/Fitness Teaching Endorsement, so this is a great opportunity for me to work in Elementary Physical Education.  I have 20 years of teaching experience from grades pre-K-5th.  I have taught in 3 states as well as overseas in Hong Kong.  After traveling, teaching, and expanding our family, we moved back in August 2013.  My husband grew up on Bainbridge Island (he attended Wilkes!) and we are raising our 2 boys on Bainbridge, a sophomore at BHS and a 6th grader at Sakai.  I feel grateful to be teaching at Wilkes this year and with the wonderful Bainbridge Island School District.  I have high hopes for an equally wonderful rest of the year with all Wilkes students!
