Dear Orca Families,
As the office manager, I am in a unique position to see every side of our school day in and day out. Because of that, I see firsthand just how vital our Move-a-thon fundrasing is—and how directly these funds support our staff, our students, and our entire community.
Most importantly, the Move-a-thon creates equity for our students: Funds raised ensure that every student receives a Halilts t-shirt to wear proudly all year long; every classroom is stocked with quality school supplies so every student has matching materials; and families needing extra support are cared for through scholarship opportunities.
While many schools struggle just to cover the basics, Halilts students and staff have the resources they need to truly enhance learning inside and outside of the classroom. I could go on and on how these funds are used, but I won't.
You may feel like you don't have much to give, but every single contribution matters. No matter how big or small your donation is, your participation shows that you are an active part of the community that makes Halilts such an amazing place for our kids.
As we near the end of our fundraiser, we are climbing ever closer to reaching our goal. I sincerely hope you will consider making a donation today—not just to support our PTO, but to show your support for this incredible community we build together.
Thanks for your support!
Sheila
