  • June 8: ALL books are DUE. 

  • June 17: Replacement costs added to student library account for items not returned.

SMARTER BLANCED ASSESSMENT (SBA)

3rd and 4th Grade SBA

Spring assessments are HAPPENING! Please save the following dates to have your students present, well-fed and rested for spring testing:


3rd Grade: May 28, 30

4th Grade:  June 3, 6

FARM TO SCHOOL SURVEY

BISD has been selected to participate in a year-long professional learning opportunity called the Farm to School Institute. 

As a part of this Institute, a team from the BISD community (teaching and food and nutrition staff, administrators, community members) will be attending a 3-day intensive in July.  At this intensive the team will develop a farm to school action plan for BISD that integrates the community, classroom and cafeteria by focusing on school gardens, food and nutrition education, and local procurement into school meals. Ahead of the intensive we are seeking input from the BISD community that will be integrated into the action planning process through conversations and this survey.
